She will speak to MES about Venture Capital and the role it has played with HistoSonics. HistoSonics' mission is to be the technology and market leader in therapeutic ultrasound systems. HistoSonics' technology platform employs
ultrasound energy to safely and effectively remove tumors without incisions. This technology has the potential to replace traditional surgical modalities for indications such as BPH, prostate cancer, uterine fibroids, liver and
kidney lesions, to name a few. In addition to improving patient outcomes
and reducing patient trauma, this technology has the potential to lower healthcare costs significantly.
